Canadian Association of Home & Property Inspectors (CAHPI)

The Canadian Association of Home & Property Inspectors is a national association, whose mission is to promote and develop the home inspection profession. CAHPI is considered the voice of Canada's "home inspection industry".

Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC)

Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation is Canada's national housing agency. Established as a government-owned corporation in 1946 to address Canada's post-war housing shortage, the agency has grown into a major national institution. CMHC is Canada's premier provider of mortgage loan insurance, mortgage-backed securities, housing policy and programs, and housing research.

Electrical Safety Authority (ESA)

TARION Warranty Corporation

TARION Warranty Corporation is a private corporation that was established in 1976 to protect the rights of new home buyers and regulate new home builders.

Technical Safety & Standards Authority (TSSA)

The Technical Safety & Standards Authority is a self-funded, not-for-profit organization that carries out a broad spectrum of tasks on behalf of governments, businesses and the general public including safety inspections, engineering reviews, technical training and certification to improve public safety outcomes.

Underwriters Laboratories of Canada (ULC)

Underwriters Laboratories of Canada (ULC) is an independent product safety testing, certification and inspection organization that has tested products for public safety for 90 years and is accredited by the Standards Council of Canada. ULC also works with other governments and international safety systems to help further international trade with adherence to local and international safety requirements.

Wood Energy Transfer Technology Inc. (WETT)

Wood Energy Technology Transfer Inc. is a non-profit training and education association managed by a volunteer Board of Directors elected by holders of valid WETT certificates. Through its administrative designate, WETT Inc. functions as the national registrar of the WETT program. Through professional training and public education, WETT Inc. promotes the safe and effective use of wood burning systems in Canada.
